Our services include new product introduction (NPI), supply chain management, kitting services, Box-build and PCB assembly. Our box-build service was introduced in 2007 with the successful integration of Minibar System’s new Smart Cube assembly line. The full box-build solution includes PCB assembly and test, sub module assembly and test and final assembly and test. |
Ternary Technologies Singapore is the head quarter for the group with its manufacturing facility in Muar. The head office is made up of the OEM Sales team and group accounting department. The purchasing department and program management team is located in the Muar manufacturing Facility. The OEM Sales team in Singapore is responsible for marketing the TRICON aluminum substrate product and also managing the Minibar Systems account. TRICON is an aluminum substrate used in the area of heat dissipation for the power LED application. Its unique capability is in its very fast heat dissipation ability thus prolonging the lifespan and also improving the color reproduction of the power LED itself.

With the introduction of TRICON product in early 2006, Ternary Technologies has been marketing the TRICON brand name aggressively to the LED industry. Our marketing efforts brought Ternary Technologies into partnership with Future Electronics Luxeon Solution Partner and also the Osram LED Light For You network. With the exposure to these two very strong and influential networks, TRICON is able to leverage its marketing efforts beyond the South East Asia Region. The market potential for this product will be realized from 2010 with the commercialization of more power LED applications in the area of general illumination for the global markets. With Philip’s move to ban incandescent bulb solution globally by 2016, the market potential for TRICON will be enormous |

All marketing activities will be conducted by the OEM Sales team in Ternary Technologies Singapore.
New businesses will be generated through participation in trade shows and exhibitions.
Marketing channels to promote products and services are mainly through exhibitions such as Electronic West (Anaheim) and Electronica (Munich).
Direct Sales, internet marketing, and participation in trade shows are the most important means of marketing channels.

The Electronics Manufacturing Service (EMS) industry in its own nature is a very competitive market in Asia, especially with the rise of emerging markets like China, Vietnam and India. Low cost production in these 3 countries is the major pull factor for major overseas customers to anchor their projects with companies operating in these regions. |

As much as price is an important factor, it is also very important to leverage on a few other key supporting factors like service quality, on time delivery, customer relationship, a stable economy and strong infrastructure of the operating country and most importantly, the integration of supply chain management with the ODM/customer |
| To compete successfully in our case, Malaysia, against the lower cost countries, the type of project win has to be of a certain category. An ideal customer would be a company looking for an extension of supply chain integration firstly, followed by a unique collaboration and sharing of manufacturing expertise and production capabilities. This form of partnership and development will take a minimum of 2 years to be developed and the key value in its delivery is in the form of a total project integration and product development, rather than on a single factor of price. Once this partnership has been initiated, the likelihood in the lost of such project to a lower cost country will be very low as the redeployment time and effort is extremely long and tedious. | |
