Using our latest developments in insulation of the Aluminum substrate to provide an efficient thermal dissipation of heat and good electrical insulator,Ternary is able to develop products that is suitable for optical applications.

Tricon is the lastest thermal substrute product line of Ternary Technologies.

In the year 2005, we developed its own aluminum substrate product for the high power LED market, which has recently been marketed under its own trademarked brand TRICON.

The black layer on the aluminum provides a good insulator layer whereby a conductor circuit is printed and fired on. This has resulted in a low cost alternative to Metal core substrates or traditional substrates with heat sinks.
